About Me
Hi there! My name is Julie and I am a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. I have scrapbooked for several years, and when my friend started telling me about Stampin’ Up! I got excited. How fun to add stamping to scrapbooking AND making cards at the same time! WOOHOO! I LOVE the catalog and all the goodies that are in it! I know you will too! If you are interested in having a workshop or demonstration for your friends and/or family, please contact me!

Well summer is underway in our home, I hope it is in your home too – the weather certainly has been weird, but it is actually WARM here in Michigan; so much so, we had to turn the AC on! YEAH!!!   My husband got laid off a couple of weeks ago, but it is kind of nice having him around to do “family” things.

It is Wednesday though (amazing how quickly the weeks are going!) and its Diva Coffee Break Challenge time again!  This week is a color challenge….here are the colors we had to use.

Here is the card I came up with – it was a hard choice because I know so many stamp sets have retired.  I am pretty sure this set made it through to the new catty (although I haven’t gotten it yet, so I’m totally unsure).

Recipe: All Stampin’ Up! products:  Cardstock: Kraft, Night of Navy, Always Artichoke, and Very Vanilla (although it doesn’t look like it); Ink: Bashful Blue, Always Artichoke, and Night of Navy; Accessories: Scallop Border punch and Kraft Taffeta Ribbon; Stamp Set: Cheep Talk

This is one of those cards that has an optical illusion to it.   It looks like the Kraft scallops are adhered onto the card, but in actuality, the Always Artichoke is punched once with the Kraft showing through.  I thought it was pretty cool the way that part turned out.  I am also thrilled with the stamped background paper.  THAT could make a VERY cute DSP!

I hope you all remember to check out the other Diva’s – They have worked hard to bring you some awesome designs this week.  Be sure to leave them a comment when you check out their work!

If you decide to participate in the challenge, be sure to return to the Diva’s Blog and leave your name and a link to your blog on Mister Linky, so we can leave you feedback as well!

I hope you all have a blessed week, and we’ll see you next Wednesday!
Julie
